WHY A CLOUD - SCADA?
Traditional SCADA systems require the owner to purchase lots of hardware for hosting the software and to achieve redundancy, all of which is very expensive and requiring of additional office space and personnel to manage and maintain it. So between the cost of hardware, software, office space and personnel the start-up and long term investment required to deploy a traditional SCADA system is beyond the budget
of many companies.
Vsmart In a cloud-based SCADA system that provides the same functionalities as a traditionally hosted SCADA solution but at a much lower price and with many additional benefits. It can also be customized based on customer's KPIs and monitoring / reporting needs.
With Vsmart a customer can choose to buy one of the following Cloud SCADA solution that best fits with their budget and long term needs.

Silver Package: This is the least expensive package as the customer buys only the customized Vsmart Cloud SCADA software and dashboard. Customer is responsible for all hardware and the integration of the same. We will provide technical support and advice to help customer complete the hardware to software integration and to get data posted to the Cloud and into the Vsmart platform. This package requires that customer have internal software engineering resources, hosting capability and own hardware and communication infrastructure. Under this package customer will be ultimately responsible for hosting and managing their Vsmart Cloud SCADA. Package comes with a 1 year service and support contract.

Gold Package: This package includes the customized Vsmart Cloud SCADA software and dashboard, as well as an edge device to communicate the data to the cloud. Customer is responsible for integration of all of their operational devices and getting the data to the edge device. We will provide technical support and advice to help customer complete the hardware to edge device integration. We will be responsible to get data from edge device into the Cloud and the Vsmart platform. This package requires that customer have internal software engineering resources, hosting capability and own hardware and communication infrastructure. Package comes with a 1 year service and support contract.

Diamond Package: This is the Software as a Service package. It is a turn key solution that is managed and serviced by us and includes the customized Vsmart software, dashboard and edge device, as well as all hosting services. This package requires that customer assign a project manager that is knowledgeable with customer's IT infrastructure and has administrator permission. Customer is responsible for all of their internal hardware and devices. This a 5 year SaaS contract. At the end of the 5 year contract, customer has the option to extend the contract every two years or to downgrade contract to Silver or Gold package or to terminate the service contract.
